Our Experiences...

Firstly we started by designing a certificate and an invite. There we learnt many basic things like cutting a png, using colour palates ,changing page resolutions and alignment of texts. Then we made a 5-page brochure followed by a 10-page brochure. We used to communicate through Google meet and Whatsapp. When we had a meeting on google meet, we would discuss about each other's design. Everyone was free to give their opinions on other person's design and no one had problem with it as this actually helped us in knowing what mistakes we have done and how we could improvise our design. Finally, we started with the last part of our course that is a testimonial. All the students were divided into four groups. We all were provided with some tasks which each group was supposed to submit before the given deadline. Each group was doing pretty well as all of us followed the saying 'TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK'. We discussed a lot regarding what are the changes each of our team mate could make in their designs in order to bring out the best in everyone. The best part was how well we all got with each other. The 'Amateur Graphic Designing' course not only helped us to learn designing but also taught us Teamwork and helped us gain new friends

I like to see the world in a colourful way. I define each instance of my life with a colour that conveys the exact feeling I experienced at that moment, like, in a design, everything should have a perfect colour combination. If we use a lot of colours without really thinking about it's significance, then it would fail to deliver what's the meaning behind the design and turn out to be a mess. That's why, I always try to use the most suitable colour in my designs for I want it to be expressive and I want people to understand it's motive at the first look. A design should be organized perfectly so that we are easily able to comprehend it. Similarly, I prefer to be organized because it helps me understand things in a better way as I'm able to manage everything without committing a mistake. I prefer whatever seems pleasing to my eyes. If I don't like the way something is looking, I try to correct it. This is the same case in designing for me. If I feel like my design isn't up to the mark and lacking something, I keep on improvising it or just ask others until it appears satisfactory to my eyes. It's like, my eyes tell me how good is the design. Lastly, I wanna say that I am an extremely imaginative person. I know this may sound childish, but whenever I don't want to do anything, I just start imagining something which can be a story, anything that I might experience in the future or how it would be like if I knew how to something particular. It allows us to think of things that aren't real or around us at any given time. I even see the most diverse dreams. In designing also, all you have to be is imaginative as being imaginative leads you to wonders and your design turns out to be great. Remember, imagination is the key to your own world. Thank you.

I am such type of person who likes dark colors and complex designing but as I started this course my choice completely changed I came across beautiful colors which were unknown to me as soon as I came to know how beautiful color combination looks with simple designing slowly my taste of colors improved. According to me, I think creativity is a star that everyone has inside them but it shines only when we reveal it. Patience is something that I lack, while designing you need to have lot of patience.... At beginning I used to get annoyed or disappointed thinking that my designs are taking too much time to get load but very slowly as I got deeper into the course I eventually gained lot of Patience...... for this I am really thankful to myself.. I am someone who don't have self-satisfaction even if the design I created is the best one I will somehow criticize it. I felt encouraged to believe in myself. Next strange thing about me is that I sometimes ruin the designs that are actually good.. it is same reason that I just can't believe myself and I always find others opinion better than what I think of my design.. But I have changed now really I am so grateful... Lastly, I want to admit that I am really bad at managing time this course taught me that time is so important and how punctual you need to be because if you submit the Design lately or after the deadline Your whole group/ team have to suffer I really want to say this course have taught me many things not only creating, adjusting but REAL LIFE LESSONS AS WELL I am really thankful to each and everyone who were always at my side whenever I needed them ..... Thank You..

So, at first when I, as a student, received a large message from our class teacher, I felt nervous once again as usual ( as "large messages" are ALWAYS regarding EXAMS 😅😂 ) But when i came to know that its about some free course and that too regarding new Graphic designing course, I was really getting excited for it to start ( At the beginning only, I would like to clear that THIS COURSE WAS WORTH MORE, MORE ...AND MUCH MORE than just a normal "Amateur Graphic Designing Course" ). So , anyways lets continue... The first step taken by me was to get a definition for it, which i got as follows - "" Graphic design is the process of visual communication and problem-solving through the use of typography, photography, iconography and illustration. The field is considered a subset of visual communication and communication design, but sometimes the term 'graphic design' is used synonymously. Graphic designers create and combine symbols, images and text to form visual representations of ideas and messages."" Anyways, once again lets get to the point 😅.. I am literally saying I didn't understand even a single word of this huge definition. I thought this course to be "even harder" than any before.. I thought it to be that boring course which would include some short classes, boring explanations, etccc...( kinda coaching like ). But when i actually had the courses , I could not breathe a word for its conclusion..😅 If you see .. this whole thing which i wrote till now is not at all a "conclusion"... But what to do.. no words to utter.. Our #dearPB was the one who had actually opened the doors of imagination 🚪✨ in this severe lockdown (which was literally getting on my nerves now) .. He taught and explained us a lot, lot more than the above mentioned definition of Designing. I suppose now also even if I can't understand the definition of Graphic designing, i don't have any need to do so - coz the sharing of knowledge which our #dearPB (who himself is a dedicated student at present) did is "THE splendid work", with utmost patience and absolute responsibilities which I suppose till now NO ONE could have done (as a student atleast).... Not only me but WE ALL would surely had experienced the new world of learning which was totally apart from the continuous studies, teaching, ... This great experience and whole new part of teaching was Not At All possible without the support of our dear and respected teachers and Ma'am.. I would like to thank our mentor-cum friend and guide #dearPB once again.. and among the list ... Ma'am and Teacher Ritu as well, for allowing us to explore ourselves and our capabilities even deep ...* Now i suppose i should end over here..got kinda tooooooo long 😅 Once again thanking #EVERYONE ( including the "cadets" who were in for this "The Best" course for this huge support and Hope these courses prevail in our every student's history.. Thanking you ALL,

So, first of all I personally learnt that how to be patient enough to handle and guide all of us throughout this course without any irritation and annoyance. Thank you so much DPB😅. The biggest thing I learnt from this course is that we have the liberty to express our imagination and creativity to the fullest. Whatever we imagine and visualize can be put in the form of display for others to appreciate, admire and even criticize. Interacted with such talented designers opened up scope to learn from them and keep ourself updated. We even exchanged ideas and processed and interacted with them regarding ongoing projects which could prove beneficial for us in the long run. So lastly I wanna conclude by writing that this was such a productive, informative, wonderful project we did. Thankyou Ma'am and teachers for giving us this opportunity and my heartiest thanks to DPB for teaching and guiding us

Firstly, we started with learning some basics about graphic designing. We learnt to crop logos using photoscissor, to use colour palates in our design with the help of colourhunt, to use of colour wheel and colour picker, then we designed certificates, invitations, brochures. The basics also helped us to use resolutions for designing. For the first few weeks, DPB used to upload videos of lectures for Goals 1.1 to 2.3 on YouTube which gave us an idea for various topics that we would learn in the corse then we used to have online meetings to clear our doubts. Then after completing goal 2.3 we were collaborated as a team for our last project, the testimonial, in which we were divided into a group of four members each. We learnt a lot in this course which included trifold brochure, 10-page brochure based on our “Empire” topic. Our testimonial project was divided into 8 tasks which had to be completed within the given deadlines, the first set of tasks were poster making - to recreate any movie’s poster; trifold brochure - on various topics like football, novel, movie and computer; book cover - to recreate any novel’s cover page; coffee mug - on various movies and web series like Harry Potter, Game of thrones, Money Heist and Dark and the second set included Photo collage - using pictures of various places like Tokyo, Paris, Berlin and Lisbon; Birthday Invitation - to create an invite for your birthday party; Event Brochure and Course Brochure. At last, we were also given a chance to design a certificate for ourselves, to be given at the end of the course.

Hello Readers, TAGD is something very close my heart. It has not only helped me enhance my confidence but also has evolved into me a better human being. There was a time when i was struck too hard with mundanity that i could hardly think of anything productive. I would sit down and have nothing to reflect back. One of my aim was to always imply free education. Skills should be made available for everybody to learn. I had been always worried with the idea of who will continue the works when we go, who will keep the cycle rolling when we'll leave the school. What could have been a better idea than teaching your juniors? I just said these words as a suggestion and finally got the permission from our principal and teachers to initiate TAGD. I will always be thankful to them. While teaching them I learnt so much. These kids are so much more than what they look. I saw them really adjusting and complying to every hardship we faced. They finally turned out to be each others best friend, thus involving into a community. We landed up on Discord, starting to work on project and helping each other and look forward to continue doing so. I thank everybody who have helped me with their suggestions.
